There will be OVER 60 VENDORS inside this massive adult playground of a venue which features pool tables, foosball, air hockey, cornhole and more (and all FREE to play!) The venue itself is dog friendly all day and kid friendly until 9pm.
Come shop TONS of art from artists, handmade stuff from makers, collectibles from collectors, thrift and vintage, TONS OF VINYL RECORDS, books, video games, movies and vendors selling so much more!

About this event:
Based on the punk rock garage sales that took place regularly at Walter's Downtown, Insomnia Gallery has been keeping this tradition alive for the last 6 years! DIY Forever! If you haven't caught on yet, these happen on the 3rd Sunday of EVERY MONTH at Bad Astronaut brewing!

Parking: Parking lot behind venue, plus grass lot on corner, plus FREE street parking on Sunday!

VHS Swap Meet

Saturday July 26th // 2pm-6pm // Equal Parts Brewing // FREE
After 5 long years, the Houston VHS Swap returns on Saturday July 26th from 2pm-6pm at Equal Parts Brewing!
This FREE, all indoor event will feature about three dozen local tape heads and collectors buying, selling and swapping! VHS, Betamax, DVDs, vinyl records, posters, toys and much much more!
If you've got a love and nostalgia for old media and old s**t, then this is the place to be!
Grab a cold drink from Equal Parts, grab some BBQ from the OG at Straits Place BBQ or even a tattoo at Battle Royale who will feature some unique VHS themed flash for the event!
Feel free to bring a box of stuff to trade with the vendors or other attendees- it's all about making new friends and meeting other collectors! Speaking of friends, much love to the homie Jason Champion for letting us carry the torch on this legendary event!

We are finally revisiting one of our most popular shows of all time! For only the third time, Insomnia welcomes local artists of all ages to pay homage to the Queen of Color- Lisa Frank! Who doesn't remember toting a Lisa Frank binder or writing a note to a classmate with a Lisa Frank pencil?! Maybe you didn't and you just LOVE COLORFUL ARTWORK!
Join us on Friday August 8th as we host dozens of local artists presenting Frank inspired fan art, art of their own with the Frank aesthetic, or simply a color bomb of art!
FREE SHOW!! All ages welcome! Bring your dog if you'd like!
The event will be sponsored by Equal Parts Brewing, City Orchard Cider, Bad Astronaut Brewing Co, and Eureka Heights! We'll have wine and cocktail options and infused beverages courtesy of 8th Wonder.
